I fjärde kvartalet 2021 uppgick Acconeers nettoomsättning till 8 110 TSEK, och intäktsökningen var 174% jämfört med samma kvartal förra året. Ett rekordstort antal sensorer såldes, 159 280, och 10 224 moduler såldes. Sedan lansering har Acconeer sålt totalt 726 410 radarsensorer och 32 874 moduler. Under kvartalet såldes även 391 utvärderingskit, EVK, och den ackumulerade EVK-försäljningen sedan lansering uppgår vid kvartalets slut till 4 641. Bruttomarginalen i Q4 var 72% och tio nya kundprodukter lanserades.

– Vi är glada att göra ytterligare ett starkt kvartal där vi än en gång slår rekord i antal sålda sensorer, detta trots den rådande globala komponentbristen. Vi fick vår första volymorder för bilbranschen och lanserade en kund i segmentet robotgräsklippare, båda nya användningsfall för oss. Dessutom ökar antalet kundlanseringar i snabb takt, och vi har en mycket stark pipeline för lanseringar i 2022. Därför höjer vi nu vårt mål för kundlanseringar från fem till tio per kvartal, säger Lars Lindell, vd, Acconeer.

FJÄRDE KVARTALET

  • Nettoomsättningen för fjärde kvartalet uppgick till 8 110 (2 956) TSEK.
  • Bruttomarginalen avseende försäljning av varor uppgick till 72 (70)%.
  • Resultat efter skatt uppgick till -17 257 (-15 451) TSEK.
  • Resultat per aktie före och efter utspädning var -0,74 (-0,66) SEK.
  • Kassaflödet från den löpande verksamheten var -14 013 (-12 732) TSEK.

HELÅRET

  • Nettoomsättningen för helåret uppgick till 31 157 (9 505) TSEK.
  • Bruttomarginalen avseende försäljning av varor uppgick till 71 (58)%.
  • Resultat efter skatt uppgick till -51 138 (-62 312).
  • Resultat per aktie före och efter utspädning var -2,19 (-2,85) SEK.
  • Kassaflödet från den löpande verksamheten var -39 986 (-50 800) TSEK.
  • Likvida medel uppgick på balansdagen till 156 858 (82 170) TSEK.

Interim report Q3 2021

In Q3 2021, Acconeer's net sales amounted to 7,859 kSEK, and the revenue increased by 183% compared to the same quarter last year. A record number of sensors were sold, 130,662, and 10,723 modules were sold. In total, Acconeer has sold 567,130 radar sensors and 22,650 modules since launch. In Q3 273 evaluation kits were sold, and an accumulated 4,250 EVKs have been sold since launch. The gross margin in Q3 was 70% and seven new customer products were launched.

CEO Lars Lindell comments: "It feels great to be able to say that we sold more than 10,000 modules in Q3, which is almost as many as the total accumulated sales before the quarter, and this despite the global shortage of critical components which led to that we were unable to deliver on all purchase orders."

THIRD QUARTER

  • Net sales for the third quarter amounted to kSEK 7,859 (2,780).
  • The Gross margin on sales of goods was 70 (65)%.
  • Result after taxes amounted to kSEK-10,309 (-12,325).

Interim report Q2 2021

In Q2 2021, Acconeer's net sales amounted to 7 643 kSEK, the gross margin was 72% and eight new customer products were launched. In Q2 for the first time more than 100 000 sensors were sold during one quarter when 112 256 sensors were sold, and since launch Acconeer has sold in total 436 468 radar sensors. In Q2 461 evaluation kits were sold, and an accumulated 3 977 EVK has been sold since launch. The company sold 2 226 modules in Q2, and since launch a total of 11 927 modules have been sold.

CEO Lars Lindell comments: "We are happy to see a new record in the number of radar sensors sold and also in the number of launched customer products during one quarter. Just like in Q1 we see a strong result in Q2, despite that our module sale has been affected by component shortage, where we haven't been able to deliver on all orders."

SECOND QUARTER

  • Net sales for the second quarter amounted to kSEK 7,643 (1,619).
  • The Gross margin on sales of goods was 72 (59) %.
  • Result after taxes amounted to kSEK -11,695 (-16,836).
  • Earnings per share before and after dilution was SEK -0,50 (-0,79).
  • The cash flow from operating activities was kSEK -9,402 (-13,920).

SIX MONTHS PERIOD

  • Net sales for the six months period amounted to kSEK 15,188 (3,769).
  • The Gross margin on sales of goods was 73 (59) %.
  • Result after taxes amounted to kSEK -23,571 (-34,536).
  • Earnings per share before and after dilution was SEK -1.01 (-1.70).
  • The cash flow from operating activities was kSEK -18,300 (-28,729).
  • Cash and cash equivalents on the balance sheet date amounted to kSEK 57,613 (109,172).

SIGNIFICANT EVENTS DURING THE SECOND QUARTER

  • A distribution agreement focusing on the automotive industry was signed with Japanese NEXTY Electronics.
  • Acconeer receives order from CODICO worth USD 125,000.
  • The annual general meeting was held on 27 April 2021, for the 2020 fiscal year.
  • It is the company's assessment that the effects of Covid-19 will have a limited impact on operations in 2021. We expect no impact on either the development side or the manufacture of sensors, while the manufacture of modules will be affected by a global shortage on processors that have arisen in connection with Covid-19. Regarding demand for the company's products we expect further delays in customer projects, fewer start-up projects and that our customers' production rate will be affected by the lack of processors.

Correction of press release regarding interim report Q1 2021

In the press released sent out on April 23, 2021, 07:30 the wrong year was stated in the headline. The correct year for the interim report for the first quarter is 2021. In addition, a link to the report on Acconeer's web site was missing. This has been added in the press release below, which in all other aspects is the same as the previously distributed press release.

Rättelse av pressmeddelande avseende delårsrapport Q1 2021

I det pressmeddelande som skickades ut 23 april 2021, 07:30 angavs felaktigt år i rubriken. Korrekt år avseende delårsrapporten för första kvartalet är 2021. Därutöver saknades länk till rapporten på Acconeers hemsida. Detta är tillagt i pressmeddelandet nedan, som i övrigt stämmer överens med det tidigare utskickade pressmeddelandet.

I första kvartalet 2021 uppgick Acconeers nettoomsättning till 7 545 TSEK, bruttomarginalen var 74% och fem nya kundprodukter lanserades. I Q1 såldes 399 utvärderingskit, EVK, och den ackumulerade EVK-försäljningen sedan lansering uppgår vid kvartalets slut till 3 516. Bolaget sålde 4024 moduler i Q1, och sedan lansering har totalt 9 701 moduler sålts. Totalt har Acconeer sålt 324 212 sensorer, av vilka 74 881 såldes i Q1 2021.

– Den substantiella ökningen av intäkter i kvartalet beror till stor del på utvecklingsavtalet med Alps Alpine, men vi är glada att även se att ökad försäljning av våra produkter bidrar till tillväxten, säger Lars Lindell, vd, Acconeer.

VÄSENTLIGA HÄNDELSER UNDER FÖRSTA KVARTALET

  • Vinnova beslutade att ge Acconeer bidrag om 4 miljoner SEK för projekt inom sömnövervakning med Sleepiz och Göteborgs Universitet.
  • En order om 390 TSEK erhölls från DigiKey.
  • En order värd 1,3 MSEK erhölls från Glyn Limited.
  • En order värd 810 TSEK erhölls från CODICO.
  • Acconeer och Alps Alpine signerade ett gemensamt utvecklingsavtal avseende nästa generations sensorteknik.
  • Distributionsavtal signerades med Mouser Electronics och Acconeer fick en första order.
  • Det är bolagets bedömning att effekterna av Covid-19 kommer ha en begränsad påverkan på verksamheten under 2021. Vi förväntar oss ingen påverkan på vare sig utvecklingssidan eller tillverkningen av sensorer, medan tillverkningen av moduler kommer påverkas av en global brist på processorer som uppstått i samband med Covid-19. Gällande efterfrågan på bolagets produkter förväntar vi oss ytterligare förseningar av kundprojekt, färre nystartade projekt samt att våra kunders produktionstakt kommer att påverkas av bristen på processorer.

DELÅRSRAPPORT Q1 2020

I första kvartalet 2021 uppgick Acconeers nettoomsättning till 7 545 TSEK, bruttomarginalen var 74% och fem nya kundprodukter lanserades. I Q1 såldes 399 utvärderingskit, EVK, och den ackumulerade EVK-försäljningen sedan lansering uppgår vid kvartalets slut till 3 516. Bolaget sålde 4024 moduler i Q1, och sedan lansering har totalt 9 701 moduler sålts. Totalt har Acconeer sålt 324 212 sensorer, av vilka 74 881 såldes i Q1 2021.

– Den substantiella ökningen av intäkter i kvartalet beror till stor del på utvecklingsavtalet med Alps Alpine, men vi är glada att även se att ökad försäljning av våra produkter bidrar till tillväxten, säger Lars Lindell, vd, Acconeer.

FÖRSTA KVARTALET

  • Nettoomsättningen för första kvartalet uppgick till 7 545 (2 150) TSEK.
  • Bruttomarginalen avseende försäljning av varor uppgick till 74 (59) %.
  • Resultat efter skatt uppgick till -11 876 (-17 701)TSEK.
  • Resultat per aktie, före och efter utspädning var -0,51 (-0,92) SEK.
  • Kassaflödet från den löpande verksamheten var -8 898 (-14 810) TSEK.

VÄSENTLIGA HÄNDELSER UNDER FÖRSTA KVARTALET

  • Vinnova beslutade att ge Acconeer bidrag om 4 miljoner SEK för projekt inom sömnövervakning med Sleepiz och Göteborgs Universitet.
  • En order om 390 TSEK erhölls från DigiKey.
  • En order värd 1,3 MSEK erhölls från Glyn Limited.
  • En order värd 810 TSEK erhölls från CODICO.
  • Acconeer och Alps Alpine signerade ett gemensamt utvecklingsavtal avseende nästa generations sensorteknik.
  • Distributionsavtal signerades med Mouser Electronics och Acconeer fick en första order.
  • Det är bolagets bedömning att effekterna av Covid-19 kommer ha en begränsad påverkan på verksamheten under 2021. Vi förväntar oss ingen påverkan på vare sig utvecklingssidan eller tillverkningen av sensorer, medan tillverkningen av moduler kommer påverkas av en global brist på processorer som uppstått i samband med Covid-19. Gällande efterfrågan på bolagets produkter förväntar vi oss ytterligare förseningar av kundprojekt, färre nystartade projekt samt att våra kunders produktionstakt kommer att påverkas av bristen på processorer.

Acconeer AB:s årsredovisning för 2020 finns från och med idag tillgänglig på bolagets hemsida, investor.acconeer.com.

Av miljö- och kostnadsskäl har Acconeer AB valt att inte trycka årsredovisningen. En utskriven version av årsredovisningen kan distribueras till de aktieägare som så önskar.

Som tidigare meddelats hålls årsstämman tisdagen den 27 april 2021. På grund av covid-19-pandemin kommer årsstämman att genomföras genom förhandsröstning. Mer information kommer att finnas i kallelsen till stämman.

Acconeer publishes annual report 2020

Acconeer AB's annual report for 2020 is from today available on the company's website, investor.acconeer.com.

In order to reduce environmental impact and cost, Acconeer AB will not print the annual report for general distribution. A printed version of the report can be distributed to shareholders upon request.

As previously communicated, the Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 27 April 2021. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the AGM will be conducted by advance voting. More information will be included in the notice convening the AGM.

BOKSLUTSKOMMUNIKÉ 1 JANUARI – 31 DECEMBER 2020

I det fjärde kvartalet 2020 uppgick Acconeer AB:s nettoomsättning till 2 956 tusen SEK, och sju nya kundprodukter lanserades. Kassaflödet från den löpande verksamheten var -13 927 tusen SEK. Under kvartalet såldes 501 utvärderingskit (EVK), vilket är väl över bolagets målsättning att sälja i snitt tre EVK per dag.

"I det fjärde kvartalet 2020 kunde vi glädja oss åt att se sju stycken nya kundlanseringar, varav tre i Kina som fortsatt är en stark marknad för oss. I övrigt har stort fokus fortsatt varit på att slutföra diskussionerna med Alps Alpine där vi hoppas kunna signera kontrakt under Q1 2021.", säger Lars Lindell, VD Acconeer AB

FJÄRDE KVARTALET 1 OTKOBER- 31 DECEMBER 2020

  • Nettoomsättningen för kvartalet uppgick till 2 956 (1 829) TSEK.
  • Bruttomarginalen uppgick till 72 (67) %.
  • Resultatet efter skatt uppgick till -15 451 (-19 465) TSEK.
  • Resultat per aktie före och efter utspädning var -0,66 (-1,01) SEK
  • Kassaflödet från den löpande verksamheten var -13 927 (-15 641) TSEK.

HELÅRET 1 JANUARI – 31 DECEMBER 2020

  • Nettoomsättningen för helåret uppgick till 9 505 (5 508) TSEK.
  • Bruttomarginalen uppgick till 61 (61) %.
  • Resultat efter skatt uppgick till -62 312 (-68 539) TSEK.
  • Resultat per aktie, före och efter utspädning var -2,85 (-3,58) SEK.
  • Kassaflödet från den löpande verksamheten var -56 391 (-60 701) TSEK.
  • Likvida medel uppgick på balansdagen till 82 170 (77 954) TSEK.

VÄSENTLIGA HÄNDELSER UNDER FJÄRDE KVARTALET

  • Acconeer fick två större ordrar från Digi-Key värda 320 respektive 315 TSEK.
  • Distributionsavtal med Marubun signerades.
  • Acconeer fick en order från BEYD värd 3,5 MSEK.
  • Det är bolagets bedömning att effekterna av Covid-19 har haft en begränsad påverkan på verksamheten under 2020. Ingen påverkan syns på utvecklingssidan, medan tillverkningen påverkats något av en global brist på processorer som uppstått i samband med Covid-19. Gällande efterfrågan på bolagets produkter ser vi att vissa kundprojekt blivit försenade, men bedömningen är att detta ryms i den osäkerhetsmarginal som alltid finns.
